S T Cottex is based at Ludhiana having its head office in the city while the factory is located at the outskirts of the city at Machhiwara (About 30 Kms from Ludhiana ). The company has 5 units in one location at Machhiwara and total installed spindleage capacity of 1 Lac spindles with 20 TFO'S, & 2000 Open end rotors.

S T Cottex is equipped with the best of spinning technology and machinery available today, sourced from both within India as well as outside. S T Cottex has a fully equipped in-house ‘R&D center' both for yarn and raw cotton testing.

Ludhiana is a big textile hub for cotton spinning, wool spinning, acrylic spinning and garment manufacturing. Ludhiana is also a hub for cycle manufacturing and auto components in India.
